Did I blog about New York yet? No? F*ck. It's only been a month now, so here's some happy snaps of my quick 14 day trip to the concrete jungle. New York... there are no words to describe the feeling you get from your first visit. But you're always compelled to go back, no matter how far you wander. My first experience in NYC was in January 2014, so I was pretty sure of the places I wanted to re-visit for a better photo opportunity and also where I wanted to EAT (Hell's Kitchen). Also, unlike last winter's visit - it SNOWED this time around.
I stayed at the Martha Washington Hotel (part of the Chelsea hotel chain) and was upgraded to the King Suite - thanks America! Located on: 29 E 29th St, it was the most PERFECT location for using the best form of transport - your legs. I walked all over - from Wall St, all the way up Fifth to Celine - took me all day, but I swear I saw more than I would have if I was stuck underground on the subway, or in a taxi. I'd recommend getting a U.S. sim card though, so making dinner reservation in Hell's Kitchen is simplified as opposed to waiting 45 minutes in the snow for a table - in Australia we don't wait for tables, ever. Must do: Serendipity - see frozen hot chocolate below, AND Ice skating in central park in the winter - there is nothing like it.
Anyways, welcome to New York.
DO YOU SEE THAT HEAVEN ABOVE THIS ^ this is why you HAVE to go to Serendipity.
All photos were taken on my Iphone 6 - nothing special. I have a million more, if you want me to talk for hours and hours and show you endless photos - call me.
