Australia Day long weekend is officially about to be bestowed upon us, and for any Australian (born or bred), this is the most magical weekend our government system could have ever granted us. Being born in the most beautiful country on earth is pretty great, but what is even better is the antics that grace our country annually, on January 26th.
Most of my fellow Aussies will no doubt be around a mates pool, wearing Australia-themed bikinis & boardshorts, listening to Triple J's Hottest 100, sippin' on a iced cold beer and devouring any type of meat that can be 'thrown on the BBQ'. This year I will be doing something similar but not without a few tweaks. Think; rooftop pool, Moet & Chandon, canapes and Cheerleader by OMI on repeat.
I planned my outfit well in advanced, this time I used www.net-a-porter.com.au to find my perfect Australia Day outfit.
I wanted something that was neutral, easy to wear and Australian-heat friendly. I chose not to incorporate many accessories to keep the look fresh, neutrel and natural. Team with a bright orange lip and you're set! Outfit details below;
